Record breaking production results date back in the period of 1996 to 1998 when 1.9 million tons of ore were excavated.
In Jama, currently mined are “Brezonik” and “T” ore bodies. The remaining ore reserves in the “Brezonik” ore body amount to 475,000 tons, with the average copper content of 1.25%. Verified geological reserves in the ore body “T” amount to 239,000 tons, with the average copper content of 5.095% and medium gold content of 2.621 g/t of ore.
Excavation in these ore bodies is planned for 2011 and 2012. Preparatory works are under way for the “T1” ore body containing about 350,000 t of ore with the average copper content of 1.897% and 0.822 g of gold per ton of ore.
